| NCC unit of SPM
College comprises 320 cadets, who participate in various activities such as Annual
Training Camp, Republic Day Camp, National Integration Camp, Parasailing and trekking etc Four of our
cadets Sunita, Sarita, Lalita and Vimla were selected in ALL INDIA THAL SAINIK CAMP held
at Delhi. Lalita the first prize in "First - Aid and Home Nursing"
Four of our cadtes got
training in "Base Hospital Attachtment Camp" and 20 cadets donated blood in
"Blood Donation Camp" held at Kirti Nagar Delhi.

National Service Scheme
National Service Scheme works
in true spirit for the upliftment of society. This scheme includes various projects
such as Literacy Programme, College Library Cleanliness, Tree Plantation etc.
The NSS team of our college has
excelled in the area of Social Service in West Delhi. The services of the team have been
greatly appreciated by various establishments such as hospitals, orphanages, slums etc.
The NSS also runs Adult - Education Classes and provides social guidance to the
illiterates.
NSS volunteers attended one day
National Symposium on "Voluntarism and Comptemoprary Society" .
WDC - Women's Development Cell
The Women
Development Cell of the college works in coordination with the Women Development Cell of
the University under the CSWB.
The
cell is a manifestation of women's resolve to improve the social - economic
and psychological status of a women. For this purpose the cell organizes
various activities like vocational counseling programmers,
seminars, competitions, debates, street plays etc.
Every students of
the college is a important member of the cell and can have assistance from the cell to
solve personal, social or educational problems.
In Womens'
Development Cell, books on General Issues, Biographies and Autobiographies of famous women
seminal works by women writers and motivational books have been made available to the
students.
A 15 day training
was organized for self defence in the first week of Feburary and it was
sponsored by Delhi
Police and Forum for Social Justice.
