HOW
TO APPLY
Applications for admission to B.A.(Pass), B.A.(Hons.),
B.Com.(Pass), B.Com.(Hons.) and M.A.(Previous) should be submitted on the prescribed form.
Students seeking admission to the M.A. course are required to register themselves directly
with the appropriate faculty in the University.
The following documents should be submitted in original
along with attested copies at the time of interview for admission.
1. Character certificate from the School or College last
attended.
2. Certificate of last examination passed.
3. Statement of marks on the basis of which admission is sought.
4. Date of birth certificate.
5. Two passport- size photographs.
6. Certificate of having passed Lower Hindi from the Board or University (if exemption
from compulsory test in Hindi is sought)
7. In case of Scheduled Caste/Tribe, certificate in original.
8. Admission slip from the University for M.A. application.
No applicant is qualified for admission to first year of the three years degree course of
the University of Delhi, unless she is seventeen years of age on or before first day of
October of the year in which she seeks admission.
Foreign students should, in addition, attach a letter from the Foreign
Students'Advisor, University of Delhi certifying (i) eligibility, (ii) equivalence, (iii)
and that the applicant holds a regular student visa/long term visa. In addition to the
Registration Fee being collected by the University, the foreign students would be charged
a fee in Indian Rupees equivalent to US $ 100 per year (Rs. 4650/- for the academic year
2003-2004)
Candidates belonging to
the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and children of widows of the officers and jawans of
Armed Forces killed or disabled in action will be required to get their names registered
at Delhi University, Main Building. The College will entertain their applications only
when they obtain the registration slip from the above.
No person is qualified for admission to the M. A. course unless she is nineteen years of
age on or before the first day of October of the year in which she seeks admission.
Application form for age relaxation upto one year will be accepted provisionally subject
to the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.
The name on the application form must tally with the name on the birth certificate.
