AWARDS
SOVA BOSE MEMORIAL AWARD
It shall be awarded each year on the occasion of the College Day.
The award shall be given to the student who tops the list of successful
candidates in English (Hons) in the college each year in the University
Examination securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
1st year - Rs. 500/-
IInd year - Rs. 600/-
IIIrd year - Rs.1000/-
SHAKUNTLA GUPTA MEMORIAL AWARD
This award will be presented in the form of a Silver medal to the
students who get highest to the marks in History (Hons.) I, II & III
years with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
HARI KISHAN - SUSHILA KAPOOR, MERIT CASH AWARD
It shall be awarded in cash each year on the occasion of college day to
those students who get highest marks in Ist, IInd & IIIrd year
separately with minimum 60% in aggregate @ Rs.1000/- each. In case there
are more then one student with equal marks, the amount will be
distributed equally among them.
K.L. GOOMER MEMORIAL AWARD
It shall be awarded each year on the occasion of college day. The award worth Rs.500.-
shall be given to the student who tops the list of successful candidates in the college in
Maths.(Hons.) Ist, IInd & IIIrd year. (University Examination) securing not less than
60% marks in aggregate.
SHRI SULTAN CHAND MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
It shall be awarded strictly by merit to a student of B.Com (Hons.) III year who secures
the highest percentage of marks, being above 70 (Aggregate of internal and external in all
papers), in the College in B.Com (Hons.) II year University Examination in the first
attempt in the year immediately preceding. If in any year two or more candidates secure
equal number of marks, the value of the Scholarship shall be divided equally amongst them.
In case the student securing the highest percentage of marks in the B.Com (Hons.) II year
University Examination is in receipt of any other Scholarship or is unwilling to accept
this Scholarship, the same shall be awarded to the next eligible candidate strictly by
merit.
SUSHMA GUPTA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
For needy and academically bright & upcoming student.
STUDENTS AID FUND
The College maintains a Students Aid Fund. The object of this fund is to render financial
assistance to needy students to meet their tuition fee, examination fee, books,
hostel-mess, clothing or medical expenses etc. The assistance to be provided to the
students out of the Students Aid Fund will be in the form of reimbursement of the
expenditure on different items. Applications for any kind of financial assistance should
be made on the prescribed form available from the office and must be submitted by the
specified time.
