Political Science (Hons.)
The medium of instruction in Pol.Sc.(Hons.) will be Hindi as well as English.

Economics (Hons.)
Admission to Eco. (Hons.) will be given only to those students who have studied mathematics in their senior secondary examination.
The medium of Instruction will be English only.

English (Hons.)

* Admission will be made on the basis of written entrance test and interview.
* Candidate getting 60% and above in aggregate and 60% and above in English are qualified to sit for the entrance test.
* Registration of the test will be allowed till Wednesday 20th June , 2007 upto 4 p.m.. Entrance test will be held on Saturday , June 23rd, 2007 from 10.00 a.m to 11-30 a.m in college hall.
* Rs. 50/- will be charged as registration fee.
* No candidate would be allowed to sit for the entrance test without registration.
* Candidates appearing for the test must bring a copy of the Class XII marks-sheet for verification otherwise they will not be allowed to take the test.
* Result awaited cases can take the Entrance test, subject to the verification of eligibility later and subject to the availability of seats.
* Students admitted to English (Hons) will not be allowed to opt for Hindi medium in any of the subsidiary subject.

Hindi (Hons.)
* Candidates who have passed the Intermediate examination of an Indian University/Board with at least 45% marks in the aggregate (pass in four subjects) and also the following Hons. Examination shall be eligible for admission to the respective subjects of the Hons.Courses:

B.Com (Hons.)/B.Com (Pass)
* Admission to B.Com. (Hons.) will be allowed only to those students who have studied Commerce and Mathematics in their senior secondary examination.
* In B.Com (Pass) admission is strictly allowed to those students who have studied Commerce in their senior secondary examination.
* Marks of only one language will be considered.
* Computer Science may be considered as one of the best four subjects for admission to B.Com (Hons)/B.Com (Pass)
* The medium of instruction in Commerce paper will be English. However, a student is free to appear in University Examination in any Medium (English/Hindi)
* The subsidiary papers to be taken up in B.Com. (Hons.) Ist year are Hindi and Mathematics.
* In the final year the College offers a choice between Business Data Processing and Financial Management & Tax Planning only as paper number XVII and XVIII.


B.A. (Pass) Course
Students offering this course have to take up four subjects as detailed in (A) and (B) below:

The following subjects are helpful to the students in getting self-employment:

Food Technology

Food technology imparts scientific knowledge about food and technical skills of food processing especially Baking and Food Preservation. The students can use this knowledge in their everyday life and can also become self- employed.

Family and Child Welfare
This subject deals with various characteristics of children and their needs. This has been introduced to provide self-employment to the students.

Kindly Note:
1. Students applying for a number of courses should fill up a separate form for each course.
2. A student who has not already qualified Hindi in the Matriculation/Class Twelve/Indian School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with higher or lower Hindi shall have to pass a compulsory test in Hindi in first year class.
3. Candidates who have not studied Music as one of the subjects in their Senior Secondary or equivalent Examination can seek admission to B.A.(Pass) with Music. A student opting for Music will be admitted only on the basis of practical tests.
4. Students passing Senior Secondary Examination with Vocational subjects are eligible for admission only to the Vocational subjects taught in this College. The only vocational subjects that will be considered are Computer Science and Home Science.
5. Subject combination allotted to the students will be decided on the basis of their marks in the respective subjects.
6. Compartmential cases will be admitted provisionally. Their admission will be regularised only if they fulfil the cut off percentage.
7. Students who have passed English in 8th Class will be admitted to stream C.
8. Students of B.A.(Pass) admitted to a lower course in English (Stream B or Stream C) may be permitted to offer the next higher course (i.e. Stream A or Stream B)in the second and the third year of B.A.(Pass) provided they secure at least 60% marks in English in the B.A.(Pass) Part I examination. Such students will be deemed to have done the higher course in English if they pass the B.A. Part II Examination in that course.
9. Students should be very careful while opting combinations of subjects stated above. NO CHANGE IN THE COMBINATION OF SUBJECTS WILL BE ALLOWED LATER ON.
10. The Principal reserves the right to disallow any combination in any course of study without assigning any reason.
