Dr.Shyama Prasad Mookerjee was a minister in Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's Cabinet as a Minister for Industry and Supply. Mookerjee founded the Bharatiya Jana Sangh in 1951, after the differences with Pandit Nehru.He became the youngest Vice Chancellor of Calcutta University in 1934.
